Borehole Log known as "DT17A" City North Infrastructure (CNI) have at every turn stonewalled or deceived the community in regard to the Borehole Log known as "APL06". Here is a scan of an equivalent Borehole Log in the Wooloowin Worksite Modification Request for Project Change document, authored by CNI themselves.
Changes to Kedron Brook These sorts of signs being erected along our public walkways and parks.
Dodgy workmanship and shortcuts This is the sort of workmanship we see on poorly planned, poorly constructed, makeshift works. This level of construction is typical of the AirportLink (BrisConnections and TJH). You certainly would not see this level of shoddiness from the the Council.
Another truck violation B-Double trucks are not allowed to travel along Kent Rd. These sorts of violations continue unchecked. Residents from Kedron and Toombul complain of continued condition violations on the tunnel project. Here is yet another example - in Wooloowin.
Lord Mayor tackles 'crude' BrisCon crew. An article in the Australian covers BrisConnections repeated violation of conditions.
Ray Wilson Gets $1Mil - "Wooloowin Gets Shafted". A residents' protest sign against Ray Wilson getting $975,000 for delivering the AirportLink project on time. "This would be ok, if they didn't expect us to carry the can when they hit poor soil conditions.", a local resident said. Read more here.
"We Don't Want This" - painted over. Someone has painted out the original sign posted by a furious resident - "We Don't Want This"
Steep paths like this surely do not comply with Council guidelines. This short, shoddily made path is incredibly steep and has been hastily installed for workers on the AirportLink project.
Tunnel with Integrity The slogan says it all - "TUNNEL WITH INTEGRITY". Putting aside issues in Kedron and Toombul, which are significant in themselves, BrisConnections and TJH should hardly expect the State Government to offer up an industrial worksite in the middle of a quiet suburban setting just because soil conditions for tunnelling turned out to be adverse. The State Government should restrict operations to Kedron and Toombul.
Tunnel with Integrity. The idea of "transfer of risk" from a commercial entity, BrisConnections, who took on the soil risk in the original tender, being allowed to use our community as a accelerator to meet their deadlines and receive their bonuses is just a farce. The State Government should confess this project will go over time and ask BrisConnections and TJH to reallocate the money to be spent on the shaft to the residents of Kedron and Toombul who are at the coalface.
$1 Mil - Wooloowin Shot through the gap in a B-Double truck travelling along Rose St (which is not allowed in the conditions) this photo captures the absurdity of this proposal. Ray Wilson, the CEO of BrisConnections, gets a cool $1 Million, Wooloowin residents get 3 years of hell.
